Goal
Find and return Ilphyl's consciousness to prominence. You know it will take the form of a small bat, but aren't sure how you know this.

Yes. And, dealing with a few nobles for a rescue attempt if he was wrong was within our abilities. But they really just wanted him back, and were genuine about learning who he actually was. Lucky him.

He was alive last I knew, but he never showed any inclination to defy my mother. Or that it even bothered him as long as he had time for his stupid hobbies.

He was something of a mycologist and painter.

Not intentionally. But it was probably why my mother gave up on me being anything other than decorative, rather than useful like my older brothers. I was constantly reminded that larger Lolthian cities sacrifice excess sons.
